South Bay Agape Christian Church
English Ministry Pastors
Henry & Sandee Chu
Henry and Sandee Chu are the English Ministry pastors of South Bay Agape Christian Church. They also oversee youth and children ministry at Agape.
Henry and Sandee met at Agape and got married in 1995. Each summer, the Chu family of 5 goes on a mission trip together. Their home in rural Sunol is a seasonal hub for various church activities.
Henry had an extensive career in analog IC designs for about 20 years while shepherding international students at Agape, before he was invited to join our pastoral staff in 2008. Henry has a deep love for Scripture, and an unique calling for prophetic preaching. You’ll find him passionately proclaiming the Cross of Jesus Christ and challenging believers to live outside of their comfort zone as true disciples of the Lord.
Sandee dedicated her life to serve Christ when she was in middle school, and began to encounter the Holy Spirit during mission trips in college. Sandee is passionate about God’s presence and the power of intercession. She believes that if people live out of a healthy identity in Christ in a local church community, they will naturally make an impact in this world with their gifts.

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.” In various stages of my life, starting as a youngster, the Lord in His mercy has invited me and because of His grace, have responded to His invitation. And never have I been disappointed.
Hello, I’m Cecilia Po, born in the Philippines, lived in Canada, US and Cambodia. Because the Lord is so good, there is an urgency in my heart to share the love of Jesus with everyone, especially among the young people when they are just starting their own life journey, as well as with everyone regardless of race, color or creed. With Jesus leading the way, you will find, as I have found, what a wonderful and meaningful life is!
